My family was very good friends with all of the Penniman clan. I remember watching color tv for the very first time with mike in his living room on brae rd as they were the first to have a color set. I remember mike aka laPenn having the biggest slapshot of all the kids in the neighborhood as he was the only one who could score a goal on big brother Doug when he was minding the goal. I was saddened to hear Of the passing of my friend. We shared many good times together thru the years. From hanging out as kids to shrimping in Alabama . It has been years since our paths have crossed but you will always have a special place in my heart. Rest In Peace my friend.
