Not sure what to say?

"The world, at least mine, is poorer without you, Mike." I attempt to elaborate on Robert Kopil's to-the-point words. Mike Perrotta was from the same corner of New Jersey that Robert Kopil and I call our hometown, but I didn't meet Mike until we were students at Glassboro State College. If a picture says a thousand words, then the two I attach offer 2,000 and illustrate Mr. Kopil's, that shy smile of Mike's reflecting his generosity, kindness, and warmth. He was the last of the good...

Hi I was a good friend of mikes in 3rd-6th grade,, we´d do normal things like bike and snow forts, but he had a way of transforming his backyard into a music studio, camera , turntable and at the time, the love of Beatles and the Monkees, he´d be Mike Nesbeth and I would be Davey Jones, And we´d be singing out loud the words of Monkee fan everywhere, 2 10-12 year olds singing loud with no regard if we were good or not, he was not afraid, and he made me comfortable with it, so kind...

I often think of Michael and all the great things he taught me at fair lawn high school. I had Michael as my English teacher for two years and I´m always grateful for that. Whenever I bump Simon & Garfunkel, I ALWAYS am reminded of this legend. May his memory be a blessing.

As Evan's fourth grade teacher, I knew Mr. Perrotta as a caring, involved dad to his son. As a parent myself, I knew him as someone who encouraged my daughter to sing on a stage. He and Mrs. Perrotta both gave her such confidence! Please know that this kind man made a big difference, and will be remembered. With sincere sympathy to Mrs. Perrotta, Evan, Sean, and Family.

Last night's memorial is a true testament to what Mike meant to so many people and how he has established a legacy that will live on in the lives of all those he has touched. He was a true friend, a great man who will be missed beyond what words here can describe.

Mr. Perrotta was an incredible teacher, mentor, and human being. He really made an impact in my life. I and everyone he has ever touched, everyone that has had the privilege to sit in his classroom will remember him always. Thank you Mr. Perrotta, for blessing us with your talent, intelligence, wisdom, dedication, and humor. You will be missed.

Both of my children (Haley and Dan Connolly) were fortunate to have had Mr. Perrotta when they attended Fair Lawn High School. They found him unforgettable. He helped my daughter immensely. Her experience with Masques was the most memorable things she did.

I hope the Perrotta family takes some comfort at this difficult time that he was so beloved and helped so many students.

Every time I touch my heart and smile I hear his voice telling me everything will be ok I love you so much Mr.Perrotta
