I never met a kinder man than Mike. Always positive, always reaching out to others in spite of very big personal challenges. I could see that he was a follower of our Savior in all that he did and to all he met. May you have His peace at this time and know that the Lord will wipe away all tears.

"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." - 1 Corinthians 2:9

We love President Peterson and will miss his calm, friendly, kind personality in our stake! Our prayers are with his family!

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Mike last year when I took a new job in the energy industry and Mike was so welcoming and kind. Many told me he had a vast knowledge of the industry and was great to work with and I found both to be true. I will miss working with him and seeing him at the Capitol. My thoughts are with you during this very sad time.

I sincerely am so sorry for your family's loss and which also happens to be my family as well, as first cousins on my dads side (Morris Peterson) we didn't get to know one another as well as I would have liked to but I know Mike was a true blessing to this world and my Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Franklin was so proud of him and all of their children and grandchildren. Sending much love and many prayers and this difficult time.

I am so sorry for your loss. May Almighty God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this challenging time. (Isaiah 61:1,2) With heart felt sympathy to you and your family.

Mike will be missed by many. Generations yet to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever walked among us. This was the eulogy given by Einstein to Gandhi at his passing. I do believe that the same could be said about Mike.
