Not sure what to say?

My memories of Mike will never fade. He was the best!

Way too many memories of Mike to describe here, so just a couple.
I can still remember Mike leading the Powers contingent which operated black jack tables each year at the Genesee County Fair. His magnetic personality brought so many people to our tables resulting in thousands of dollars earned for Powers projects.
Then there was Mike's leadership of the campaign to build the addition to Holy Family School. He would wear an army combat helmet to assemblies of potential donors and...

Thinking of you and Mike today, Sally. Hard to believe it has been 5 years. Hope you are doing well.

Sally, Saw in the U of D magazine that Mike had died last September. I am so sorry to hear about his passing. I have found memories of our years together at U of D. Would love to be able to get in contact again. Karen Cavanaugh Charest ([email protected])

Coach Pettinger was my softball coach back at Holy Family years ago, and he was such a great coach. Coach Thiron is right that all his players will never forget him. He was a great role model and a great man. He made practices and games fun while teaching us that winning isn't always everything. He will be missed by all who ever knew him.

Sally,

I only knew Mike thru the TAP program at Holy Family and met you thru physical therapy for our knees.
I really appreciated Mike's passion for life and was impressed by the deep love he had for you and your family. He spoke of his family with such pride, the joy in his voice was unmistakable. I wish everyone had a Mike in their lives.
I know he will be truly missed.

Just learned of Mickey's passing. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family

Sara,

So sorry to hear about the loss of your father. My prayers are with you and your family.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the entire Pettinger Family.
God Bless all of you.
