Not sure what to say?

I was friends with Mike in Denver in the mid fifties. We attended the Junior high school together (Kepner). We often hung around at the "ditch" as we called it, (Sanderson Gulch), one day we decided to dig out a little cave out of the bank of the ditch, i was below digging upward, when i had come to an area, that I couldn't dig because I was stuck, and couldn't back out, I asked Mike to come down and pull me out. What a relief, and Thank you, and wish I could have thanked you before the end....

A wonderful man, best educator.

A truly amazing individual. Willing to offer his support to anyone seeking advice or solution to a problem, Mike was the best. Working, under his guidance as a Canyon del Oro coach, was a pleasure. Mike's understanding nature will be missed by many. Offering my deepest respect and condolences to Brenda and his extended family.

Michael Piccone was one of the greatest men, and grandparents, that anyone could ever have. He always made the world a brighter place, and those who called him friend and family better people. He always had a kind word, or a wise piece of advice anytime you'd talk to him. He was a prime example of everything good and kind with the world. Michael was a man among men, always putting forth his best ! He was respected by all and especially revered by my husband, Vern. They spent many hours together, both at work and in quite times. He was irreplaceable on the football field, when he retired from coaching, but was still a huge part of our lives. I am sure he is with Vern, "coaching" on a much higher level.... RIP Michael.
