Mike had this rare combination of practicality, curiosity, joviality, and playfulness. As his nephew, I always looked up to him during those family gatherings on the farm in Lancaster. He always seemed to be fiddling with something. It was only later did I come to understand the extent those fiddlings manifested themselves in his life, most impressive being the fathering of such a beautiful family. Our prayers are with you Carol, Tim, and Tami. He was a great man.

I was saddened to hear of Dr. Pierce's passing. I was an adult patient of his for two and half years. He was a very special person and a very knowledgeable orthodontist. I'm sure the family and friends will miss him
