Judy and family, I remember Mike from my many years associated with Aquinas. In reading the comments of his many friends, it sounds like he was a kind and loving person. My prayers are with all of you at this difficult time.

Mike impacted so many lives in the City of Fremont through out his 22 years here. He was an asset to our community. He will truly be missed!

Judy and Dave,

Death never comes easy, especially when it is a young son who has given so much to those in need. The good that he has done for the youth and those with special needs will never be forgotten.

Regret that I couldn't be with you on Thursday and, due to a previous commitment, had to leave Mass just before it was over. I especially appreciated the kind words that Mike's siblings shared.

I am sure that God will hold your hands in the days, months and years...

Judy, Dave and all the Piero family, So so sorry to hear of your loss. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Piero/Silagy families - We are so heartbroken to hear of Michael's passing. Coming from your families, we are sure that Michael was as special as all of you are. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. I knew Mike from the Fremont Rec leagues over the years. He will be missed!

What an amazing guy and truly the face of the Fremont Recreation Department. In his 22 years in Fremont, he has touched so many lives and created such a positive influence. I hope that each one of us can take at least one of your many positive attributes and instill them in our own lives towards others. May God bless you ole friend, RIP you will never be forgotten!

My sincerest sympathies to the family. I have known and worked with Mike for 22 years as a Rec Board member, volunteer and as a city councilman. He was a very special person and never tiring guy when it came to youth. Heavenly travels my friend and be sure to look up my Dad.
