Thank you to everyone who is thinking and praying for me and my boys. The outpouring of love has been unbelievable and it is greatly appreciated. Our home seems so empty without Pio, but is filled with so many happy memories. We all miss "hon","Pio", "dad", "coach" so much!!! He was a great husband, father, son and friend. He was my soulmate...I have no doubt that we will be together again some day. I love you always hon! Jeannine

Pitt-Penn State game, circa 1979

One of the first times I met Pio was at this Pitt-Penn State game. My first impression of him was that he was fun and Jeannine was a lucky girl. Pio was always so devoted to Jeannine and always looked at her so lovingly. I loved the way he teased her. I was honored to be the Maid of Honor at their wedding 24 yrs. ago. I enjoyed watching Pio around his children and mine; he especially loved holding my kids when they were babies. He was such a good father to Carl and Michael and was clearly...

My condolences to Mike's entire family on his sudden passing. I will miss seeing and talking with him at the Prep events.
Prep 77 classmate.
