Not sure what to say?

You were so many things to me; a lover, a friend, a confidant, a provider, a great husband, and a great father. There is not a day that has passed that I have forgotten all the good things that you have done for me and the children. You would do anything and everything to make sure we were all taken care of and had all of our needs met. You will be forever with me in my heart until the day that I die. You will always be my husband and my friend. I love and miss you so much.

You have been on my mind today Son. I wonder what you would have looked like at 45. You were such a handsome man, and I'm sure you would be distinguished like your Grandpa Shoe. I really miss you. Kirk has cancer, and I think things would have been easier if you were here to be beside him. You were always his very best friend, and he seems lost since you left us. You always made our family better with your love and concern for all of us. I love you so much. Mama

Your marching might be over down here Michael, but we are still marching up Zion's hill. We know you are at the top of this hill, as your climbing and dedication was accepted as the Highest Honor. God only takes the best, as His Mercy extends our lives sometimes when we need time to get it right.

You apparently were done with your work here on earth. God knows. God cares. God is never wrong. He's always right and saves us from losing out later, or from worse harm. ...

To the family of Pfc. Michael P. Pittman: I sent a care package through Any Soldier years ago and received a letter back from Pfc. Pittman. I was so grateful to receive a letter back, telling me he had shared the items with the other soldiers and was going to distribute the toys amongst the local children. I am so sorry to hear of your loss and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

I never stop thinking why I was lucky to have come home and why you and Snell had to be taken. There is a memorial named Arlington West on Santa Monica beach and I have dedicated a cross for you and him there. A day does not go by that I don't think of you guys. I love you brothers and will see you on Fiddlers Green soon enough.
