My deepest condolences on your loss. My memories of "Pivo" are vivid, happy ones that I will cherish. I was a first year teacher at Steinert when I met Pivo and he was one of the faculty members that made me feel immediately welcome and part of the faculty.

I will long remember his sense of humor, his antics, and his signature style. I have fond memories of him and the good times he created in the faculty room.

I am so sorry that I was out of the country...

Jeff and family, So sorry to hear of your dads passing. I know the heartbreak of loosing a parent and words cannot express how sad I feel for you all. Sounds like you dad had a huge impact on the lives of many students that he taught and coached. Hang on to the wonderful memories. Love and prayers to all.

So sorry for your loss. Pivo was the best guy ever and a great friend to my uncle Fritz Alpaugh. I can picture the both of them with their silly smirks when they were up to something...they had so much fun. Pivo was one happy person, always smiling. Much love to the Pivo family. With great sadness and my sincerest sympathy.
