With his wide smile, his sense of humor, and his down-to-earth personality, Our Michael will be sadly missed by family, as well as by his friends, who knew him best. Funeral services will be held at Oakey's Vinton Chapel on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Donnie Glass and Senior Pastor Edward T. Creel officiating. Life is not measured by the number of breaths that we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Michael you did give me butterflies, your smile took my breath away everyday! You showed me unconditional love you will forever be in my heart, because you found my soul.
Rest in peace my sweet prince, until we meet again your love will see me through.
Always Yours,
Carla

Mike,
So sorry to hear about the loss of your son. No bond is greater than that between a parent and child. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I wasnt very close with Micheal but grew up with him all the same. He was crazy and loved to make people smile. Even though we grew apart through the years, Micheal made sure he said hello to me every time he saw me. He will be greatly missed! My thoughts and prayers are with his family in this time of greif. MICHAEL, YOU WILL BE IN OUR HEARTS FOREVER....R.I.P. MICHEAL

The news of this came as a complete shock to me, because I just never thought that he would die so young. I grew up with Michael all through Elementary school and have really funny memories of him just being the precocious kid that he was back then. As we got older, I didn't really hang out with him or have classes with him so I didn't really get to know him as he matured into an adult. I'm really saddened by the news and I pray that all the family will really be able to find strength and...

To Michaels family we are so sorry for your loss. I can rememeber just being kids and playing basketball. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family.
