Not sure what to say?

Mike & I certainly had our differences, but I always appreciated his friendship & being a wonderful neighbor!!! You were a good person & Ill see you one of these days with Jesus I pray. You are missed!

Mike played for me and assisted me in coaching the Hagerstown Bears in 1970-71-72. He was a great member of the team, tough, strong, hard-working and loyal to a fault - all you could ask for in an assistant. We lost touch and over the years I've often wondered what happened to Mike, and although I'm saddened by the news of his passing, I'm pleased to know that he lived a full life. My sympathies to his family and may God bless Mike Pointer.

I worked with Mike at SFBC - really enjoyed my conversations about football and Michigan Football in particular! God Bless you and your family!

I am very sorry for your loss, I was Mike's Secretary at Security First for the last 3 years before he retired. I really enjoyed working with him, he had a great sense of humor. He will be sadley missed. May God Bless him.

We graduated from Swartz Creek High with Mike. He was even in our wedding those many years ago. Our hearts go out to his family at this difficult time. Our deepest condolences are with you as you grieve the loss of Mike.

"My father, Mike's Uncle, was extremely proud of Mike. I had visited with Mike only twice as an adult and came away each time wishing that I had gotten to know him better. God Bless You!"...Kent Pointer (Denver, CO)

My memories of Mike go back many, many years when he would come with his family to visit our Grandma Pointer in my little hometown of Bernie, Missouri--also, Mike's father's hometown. It was always exciting when "the Michigan Bunch" came, and Mike, being a bit older than many of us cousins, was looked up to, admired and loved because he paid attention to all of us. We hung onto his every word. So sad to hear of his passing. May all of you be surrounded with God's peace and good memories...

I just heard about Mr. Pointer's passing today. Mr. & Mrs. Pointer took me in when I was young and treated me as one of their own. The love they displayed towards me has impacted my life in ways I can't even begin to explain. Mr. Pointer was someone I respected and looked up to. To Wendy, I only hope that I have grown to be half the man that he was. You are in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathies to all of this Family.. Dennis & Sara Schumaker
