Dear Grandpa, you'll be deeply missed and your life will be honored by so many wonderful memories. I am one who prefers to celebrate the cherished memories I have of you and with you, as I believe you are now resting in paradise. I do wish I had been able to get one more game of chess in! My love goes out to you, as you took me as your grandson when mine was gone before my birth. May you have eternal peace and happiness.

Dear Grampa,

I miss you already. I wish I had seen you more recently. I'll never forget playing chess with you, or your great cooking, or your great sense of humor.

I wish I could have come to your funeral, but I didn't find out until it was too late.

Grandma still misses you and asks about you.
