Michael Everett Powell

Mike will be sorely missed. He was a great son of Leora, great brother to Nancy, Dick and Bob, great husband to Sandy, a great father to Sara, a great optician who enhanced the quality of life for many, many patients in Lincoln, but most of all...a great friend of mine. Yes, the good do die young, and I'm confident that he, Burkett and Grandpa are having a better time up in Heaven than they ever did here on Earth, and that's saying a lot. I'm proud to call Mike a good, close friend.

For all the special times together as friends! Conventions, Football games,Bowling,pool games at Craig's and just being with the friends we had in common. Your conversations and the laughter will be sorely missed by the one's you left behind. MJA
