Michael "Shorty" Powers

Nance, Nan, Donna and Kelly.....I arrived home from out of town yesterday and so saddened to hear about Michael.

He was just an awesome man...I had the chance to meet up with him when I moved back to Dallas from Scottsdale after Bill died.

I met Shorty when I visited my sister at Guadalupe, when the paraplegics went up Guadalupe Peak. He was definitely the leader of that group! Very inspirational man, and one who has made the most of the hand he was dealt.
