Not sure what to say?

Mike had the stories that only the fearless can tell. There was the time he had his shoes stolen (after he had taken them off to catch a quick swim before his flight) and couldn´t get on the flight home shoeless, so he bought a black marker and painted them on his feet! To one of the most fantastic people I have ever known! Hope to see you soon my Dearest Friend! I Love You very much Always and Forever! Love Maria Kahlstrom

Dearest Mike, We had great times at Lake Tahoe, the resevoir, Bear Valley, Irish beach. I couldn't wait to hear that very loud silver truck or the silver charger( I forgot the make I would know if I saw it) pull out in front of my house in high school. I only wish I kept in touch more over the years...Last night when I dreamed of you I was so looking forward to seeing you again. My daughter remembers the last time close to ten years ago. I started asking some friends of mine and Trevor Colts...

I met Mike through Jim Drake. Mike had been to visit Jim in Boca Raton over the years and Jim and I visited Mike in Jaco Costa Rica. Mike was a colorful character. witty, certainly spontaneous and unpredictable. He was one of the most adventuresome and fearless people that I have ever met. He was always kind to me. I am sorry to see him leave this life at such a young age. My condolences to his family and others that knew and loved him.
