Not sure what to say?

We are sorry to learn about Mike's passing so late, Barbara. He was a great friend and we so enjoyed being your neighbor in York and then playing golf together in Florida.

Our sincere sympathy to the Prendergast Family
At this sad time

Don and Jane Dellinger

I feel very privileged to have met Dr. and Mrs. Prendergast through their daughter Susan and her family and very honored that they opened up their hearts to welcome Cindy and I into the family gatherings. We were so fortunate to have been able to share some wonderful times and lots of laughter with them.

Our hearts go out to Mike's wife Barbara and their entire family. What a wonderful family!!! Mike and Barbara had a place next door to our brother-in-law, Herb Poe and sister Joy in Ocean City NJ. When we visited, Mike and his family were very welcoming and included us in their plans, making our stay more enjoyable. I'm sure Mike will be greatly missed by all of his family and friends. Sending love and prayers!!!

Memories of a wonderful neighbor and a family that was important to me. I was the babysitter and loved the kids. But their TV didn't work, so I carried my portable along with me. When they returned home, Dr. Prendergast always carried my TV back home for me.
I also remember a number of their German shepherds managed to bite my arm, and how he doctored me while I was passing out in his bathroom!

Fine family, good memories, my condolences to all.

Uncle Mike, Joey & Ashley

A favorite photo from a winter visit.

We have such fond memories of Uncle Mike, particularly from Mike & Barb's annual visits to Florida, when they always stopped to visit the Jacksonville family en route to escaping the worst of the northern winters. On one such visit, they stood in for my parents, holding our preemie daughter in the hospital and providing much needed hugs and reassurance during a trying time. They will always be so special to us.

I remember when Michael took me on a date in his red sports car in Ocean City. We went to an Italian Restuarant for dinner and the whole family was there at another table (including Barbara)!!!
