Not sure what to say?

What a shock to find this when I googled Mike´s name. We were college friends and only kept in touch every 5-10 years or so...it had been much longer than that since our last phone contact. How this saddens me. My sympathy to Mike´s kids, Nancy and the other "boys." Mike was special to me and will not be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing my friend! I've been trying to call for about a year now. We always had such wonderful conversations about everything. You loved music. I still have some of your mixed CD's. You taught me so much about kindness and love. I will forever be saddened. I met you at the Raccoon Lodge. I was your bartender first, and then I was blessed to be your friend. Rest easy. I will miss you.

I'm saddened by this news. I've known Mike since the early 90s. He gave me much needed confidence to "stand up to the guys" as a young 20-something woman working as the only female on a bond trading desk. He helped me build my fantasy baseball team that won a season or two! We shared some great stories of his epic adventure to Antarctica - incredible photographs. He was never short on smiles or fun sports facts or jokes peppered in with more serious "trading" talk when we did business...

I worked with Mike at First Boston in the late 80s and early 90s. A great guy who never seemed to have a bad day. A generous heart was always evident but especially when I did my annual fundraiser for St Johns Home for Boys. He was always one of the first people to write a check every year. I had lost touch with him recently but was saddened to hear of his passing. The world will miss his spirit and zest for living. Your family is in my prayers.

Love you

On Mike, there were the basic discussions that added much to one's day - baseball, politics, markets, movies, etc. - when graced with the opportunity for a conversation but it was the substance of his gushing pride in his kids that gave away who he was and what meant most to him. Although we met through the superficial construct of "business", his was a friendship not dependent on that business. I was slow to appreciate that. Without regard for my success or failure, he found me and...

Miss you Mike

Rest in Peace, Mike. He was a true gentleman and professional. I worked with Mike at Lehman Brothers. You will be remembered, Vince Marchewka

Thanks for all the good times Mike. REST IN PEACE
