Not sure what to say?

Sorry for your loss, Mike was a wonderful cousin.

Dear Diane, Aaron & Devin - I have waited to write a message - foolishly thinking it would be easier to do if I just waited a few more days. You know how much I loved my brother and understand how difficult it is to think about the reality of him no longer being there to talk with, learn from, laugh with and just share things with. He influenced my life much more than anyone else. I want you to know I meant everything I said at the "celebration". He has left behind quite a legacy in the...

Oh, Diane, how my heart hurts for you. I am so glad you made it back to Iowa last summer and we could spend some time together. I know how you are hurting and how you will keep hurting. But you will start to heal a bit, this I know. I miss my Bernie so much, but thankfully you and I have been blessed with children. Without them, it would be difficult. Keep strong, dear, and remember all your good times. I remember so many with you when we were young. You have had a wonderful life and I am so...

Diane: I feel so lucky to have the conversation with Mike. I am glad to have lived close enough to visit you both. Especially with my daughter. Thank you for your sailing lessons and sharing family memories. Bill and Debbie wanted me to add their condolances to you. We will miss you our beloved cousin!

I'm so glad to we had time together during our last mini reunion. My prayers are with you and your family.

Love, Joyce Crawford

Diane,
I was very sorry to hear of Mike's death. He was an outstanding man and, I know, the love of your life. I believe he is now with God who will keep him in his care. I also believe Mike will continue to watch over you and guide you along on your journey. You and your family are in our prayers.
