Michael Kenneth Quinn
January 10, 1956 - March 11, 2022
Michael Kenneth Quinn passed away quietly on March 11, 2022, surrounded by family and friends. Michael was born in San Francisco on January 10, 1956, to Robert and Catherine Quinn.
Mike is survived by his son, Thomas, daughter Grace, daughter-in-law Cynthia Santos, his parents, brothers Hugh, Steve and Larry and sister Mary Fuller; as well as an uncle, an aunt and numerous cousins. Mike was a proud father, a loyal son, a caring and supportive brother and friend.
Mike was a Master Swimmer who enjoyed coaching the Casa Grande Swim team for a few years. He was a regular at the pools around Petaluma. He loved the challenge of swimming in the San Francisco Bay, Lake Tahoe or just about anywhere.
Mike was an artist of many talents: pottery, paint, photography, wood working among them. He was a man who could fix almost anything. Many of us have pieces of his beautiful pottery to remember him by.
Michael touched the lives of many, and will be deeply missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of Petaluma or the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.

I worked at Synergy Health Ckub for 10 years as a Massge therapist and would swim regularly and do Aqua aerobics so I saw Mike at the pool regularly swimming or coming or leaving the club. He was always super kind and had a wonderful energy about him. I am sorry for his family´s loss!

My condolences to the family. I was fortunate to have Michael as a friend for many years. He was a wonderful caring intelligent person. I will never forget all of the good times we had together and the phone calls later in life that helped me think through the challenges life throws at us. He had a calm and understanding perspective of life. He will always be in my thoughts.

Mike was the first swim coach for our family. He was so encouraging and masterful with the kids in the water. Our deepest condolences to his family and friends.

I'll miss Mike at the pool, where we interacted almost daily -- for years! He gave me swim tips and a smile. I'll miss his gentle presence.
