Not sure what to say?

So sorry to see this. Michael was sweet , talented, and fun. So sad, way too soon.

Michael was so special!! He gave our long-ago band, The Awkward Years, our first concert of many....always grateful for knowing him. xxxxx, Judy

When my father-in-law passed away, my mother-in-law was left with a collection of fountain pens and wasn´t sure what to do with them. I reached out to Michael, and he kindly came over to help. As he walked me through the pens, he noticed my banjo-and just like that, we were off talking about folk music and contra dances. That conversation sparked a friendship I´ll always treasure. Michael was a truly wonderful person who brought care and love to everything he did. Sending love to Susan and...

I knew Michael from our folk music days in the late 60s and 70s. He often played at The Coffee Grounds and he was my introduction to shanty singing. I have wonderful memories of his voice accompanied by banjo or cocertina. To this day when I am part of a shanty sing up here in the Twin Cities I think of him. RIP on Fiddlers Green Michael. You were very special.

I have fond memories of my discussions with Michael. The first thing he would ask about is how the family was doing and was everyone ok. I will miss him.

My family and I were sad to hear about the passing of Michael. Long time pen pal and friend. Deepest sympathies to Susan and family. Frank/Nadine/Mark/Frank Sr

Tom Hickey and I send fond memories of Michael from Tom's Aikido days. Please know that we are holding the family in the light during this time of change.
