Not sure what to say?

My birthday will always have a touch of sadness because that´s the day Dr. Mike died. But I always remember him fondly. He always made it a joy to come to work. He would crack me up all day with his quick, sarcastic wit. I wish Carla and the kids the best. He loved you dearly. -Kim

Miss you, Dr. Mike.

I miss you, my pal. Fond memories always.

I miss my former med school classmate. May God bless his soul and his family.

Dr. Michael Rankin was the pediatrician for all three of my children from the day they were born. No matter how sick the kids were, or how difficult the visit, he always made us smile. When I moved back to California this year, he returned my phone call almost immediately to help me find a specialist for one of my children.

He was also a dear friend and former coworker of my mother who passed in 2012. He came to her celebration of life and, in true Michael fashion, told some hilarious...

We are late to hear the sad news of Michael Rankin's passing. Dr Rankin was our pediatrician when our boys were born in '90 and '92. We loved his caring, joking manner and his attention to detail. I know he was very proud to be a dad. We are saddened that his life was cut...

Dr. Rankin was pediatrician to both of my boys from birth until adulthood. As a new mother, I was very careful to interview and find the best Dr., and I could not have found a better Dr.Dr. Rankin. He didn't mind that my first born peed on him, and he rushed to the hospital to make sure my 2nd would be OK when he had a traumatic delivery. As my boys grew into young adulthood they were comfortable talking with him about anything. I would like to thank his family for sharing him with the...

My condolences. As a classmate of micheal in Gainesville, I fondly remember his sense of humor, compassion, and kindness he showed to all. He will be missed by many.

I today received the letter from PAMF. I am truly saddened to learn of this news.My children were patients of his until they aged out of Pediatrics. They, as well as I always enjoyed seeing him. He was a gentle giant. He will be missed by all he knew and loved. My heart goes out to his family during this time. May he rest in peace
