Though I hadn't seen or spoken to Mike in probably over 35 years, I always considered him a friend. He was such a cool guy. He always brightened whatever environment he entered. I was saddened to hear the news of his death. A life far too short. Always a handsome rascal, funny, witty and a better ally than an adversary, the world is a more lonely place without Mike Reed. Goodbye old friend...

For the short time I knew Mike, I always felt like I knew him a lifetime. Sean, Jeannie, my family and I express our extended condolences and prayers

Rest in peace Michael, it's been a long time since we last saw each other. But you were always my friend. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. The world has lost a really great person.
