Not sure what to say?

My beloved

I would visit Michael just to hear him tell another great story of his life.
Where is my pal Scruffer?

Michael was a rakishly handsome fellow with a knowing twinkle in the eye that always seemed to hold the promise of some good mischief. A font of knowledge, always inquisitive and just plain curious, Michael was a kind gentleman of much refinement. i feel lucky to have made his acquaintance.
rest easy friend. Peace, Joey Mishkofski

I lived above the McClees Gallery for five years and ran into Michael often. Then after I graduated from PAFA I had the wonderful opportunity to work under him for several years and to learn something about art restoration. He taught me a lot. He was a most giving and kind spirited man, and a wonderful teacher. He had a twinkle in his eye most of the time. I always admired the unsigned painting that he hung in the bathroom in the gallery, because it reminded me of Stuart Davis'...

Michael was such a gift to those he met and spent time with. He made a difference with his humor, caring, wisdom, friendship not just for me but for everyone he connected with. It was a blessing knowing him. The connection remains, it's just changed. I find peace, joy and love in the memories of times shared with Michael. He's never gone because he is in our hearts. My condolences to Michael's family and to the many who miss him.

I was very sad to note Mike’s passing in today’s Pilot.
I found him to be a kind and gentle man.
I was also totally impressed by his creative talents and knowledge of art.
I’ll always remember the beautiful artwork he proudly displayed throughout his home.
