Mike was an awesome person. His personality was always great. Our families go way way back. We are so very sorry that he suffered so. May good memories help his family now. He was a terrific guy.

Michael, I'm sure your light is shining brightly elsewhere now my friend. Thank you for being the first man I ever met in Virginia Beach. You set the bar high. And, thank you for all the laughs and good conversations over the years.

I can only surmise that my daily habit of reading the obits now more often than not reveals friends I am losing.Mike was a buddy for sure in the good old days at the Beach. Lost touch quite some time ago but it still takes me aback when the name of a friend appears. He'll be one of the sharpest guys in Heaven for sure and I can only say that my prayers and thoughts are with his family at this time! May he rest in peace! Ken
