I suppose I must have been one of Mike´s first patients, long ago when he opened his practice in Bryan, and I came to teach at A&M. It was not long before we became friends. He was a skilled and humane dentist, but I shall remember him best as a fine man (who tolerated my teasing about his devotion to the game of golf) whom I truly admired. My deepest condolences go out to Mrs. Riggs and her family.
