Michael truly had a kind and beautiful soul. I was blessed to work with him in his childhood as his third grade teacher. My heart goes out to all who loved him and will miss him so dearly.

When an old person such as me sinks back into the mud, it is sad. When a person so young and vital is taken from us, it is a tragedy shared by us all. There are no real words of comfort for those left behind when this happens and sadness is the least we must feel. My condolences to those close to Mr. Riser and my sympathy for your loss.
