Words can not describe the shock and pain. I knew "Riv" as I called him since he worked at the day camp in Clifton. He was so kind funny and made every single person who knew him a better person. As part of a LARGE group of Jewish people from passaic clifton who knew mike and loved him I can say we are all extremely saddened and shocked. We all lost an amazing person.

May God continue to Bless and keep the family of Coach Riv! An awesome man - he was my son's basketball coach and mentor, and he was a good friend to me. I will miss that beautiful smile and his kind words!! He was always so positive and supportive when speaking of my son and his teammates. Now an Angel watching over us all - may he rest in Peace.
