Read MoreWhen we were youths, Mike and I walked to St. Florian grammar school together. When we were teens, Mike and I walked to the bus enroute to Mt. Carmel. As young adults, we roomed together at a University of Illinois dorm. As seniors, we walked together to our cars after lunch with our fellow Hegewisch friends. Now I, and all of us, walk alone with our fond memories of Mike. RIP Mike
