Michael Rogers

Mike was witty, fun, insightful, full of wisdom, and always up for an adventure, of which we shared many. It´s hard to accept that he´s no longer here, after sharing so much for so long with him. Wishing all of us a life of memories of Mike and the ongoing reverberations for how he touched each of us.

So sorry to learn of Mike´s passing. Getting to know Mike only briefly, his dedication to service was inspiring and contagious. He radiated a sincere and humble compassion that made work and our community a more welcoming place- his kindness and warmth linger on.

Mike was such a nice person, always ready to share knowledge. During the pandemic, I sat on the same floor as him and got to know him better. He shared an Excel trick that I use all the time and always think of him each time I use it. We also worked in the County's emergency shelters together where it was clear how much serving the people meant to him. My deepest condolences.

Mike and I got hired around the same time in the GL unit at the County. I ended up leaving and returning a few years later, and when we'd speak it was as if no time had passed. He was a bright light in this world and always willing to help. He will be greatly missed.
