Not sure what to say?

I can't believe a year has passed. For those of us who had the wonderful opportunity to know him, our fond memories of Mike will always remain with us and continue to bring a smile to our faces. Thank you Mike for allowing me to always cherish these memories. You were a close friend to our family!!!

Michaels Family,
How else would he leave us but peacefully? A wonderful man blessed with many gifts. While I ran with Most Mischievous female of the Class of 70, Michael left it there! I will continue to cherish his grandmothers red hat yet most heavenly. Now comes the Divine Gift with thee Angels & Saints. Forever Peacefully.

Lucy and family, Deeply sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was a great friend and neighbor. Prayers for you all. May he Rest In Peace.

So grieved to learn of Mikes' passing. He was a friend and colleague as a member of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America. We always enjoyed having Mike attend our car shows and tours with his '28, although I think he was partial to "Brass Era Cars" and his REO. Mike was a great resource and often helped me with my restoration projects by offering advice and often, spare parts. He will be missed by his "Chevy Friends". Condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

I first met Mike when I was a student at Bangor High School. He was the Special Education teacher and would allow me to hang out in his room and help out. I knew from that time in my life that I wanted to work with the same community of people and Mike gave me that opportunity by hiring me when he was the principal at Clearview Elementary. I have so many fun memories of Mike from taking me and some friends to our first Penn State game, visiting me in college and making sure to call me...

Mike was my best friend as a child, we built so many toys together, worked on cars and wooden projects. We seemed to see eye to eye on most everything and were constantly joking around about everything and anything. We had a few goats, and went on adventures all the time. Hot Dog Johnny's, NYC, riding quads, fishing opening day at the lake down the street, making a homemade bow and arrow ( and then helping me get it off the roof )

He was more than my best friend, but it's the title I...

Softly flows the light of day..
As our campfire fades away.
Silently each scout should ask..
Have I done my daily task?
Have I kept my honor bright?
Can I guiltless sleep tonite?
Have I done and have I dared..
Everything to be prepared.

Rest In Peace. My sympathy to the Romano family.

Lucy and Joe
We were so shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. He was a good neighbor and always working on his beautiful property. His fireworks displays were second to none.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

I met Mr. Romano in high school at Bangor. He allowed me to use my study hall time to make copies/file papers/correct papers for him. He always had a smile on his face, and a heart of gold! He loved his job working with kids! When I graduated, he gave me a Pittsburgh Steelers poster that I still have to this day (he knew I was a fan). That's what set him apart from others. He got to know me ( and many others) personally and I appreciated that! I lost touch with him after I graduated, but...
