Michael J. Roof Jr.

I just found out about Michael's death, and I have to tell you I'm crushed! My heart goes out to Michael's family especially coming up on the year anniversary of his death. I taught at Yokota HS, an was Michael's teacher as well as his Student Government Sponsor. Michael was a fabulous kid and leader. Everybody absolutely loved him and it was evident by his election to Student Government President as a Junior. I remember him having migraines a lot, but he would always take them in stride...

It has been years since Japan but Mike has never been forgotten and has been more than fondly remembered by me and my family over the years. This world will be a bit dimmer without him in it. My condolences to his family and friends. Mike, thanks for the good times and for sticking up for me when no one else would.

Michael, its so difficult to say what I feel today that I found out of the tragic news, but bro you will always stay in the hearts that loved you. Its easy to say but Roof's stay strong and I know Michael is in a great place. My condolences to the Roof family and know that I will always pray for you all.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone that is in pain over Michael's death. Time will ease that pain, but we'll never forget Michael.

I don't even know what to say or where to start. I have know Michael for over 10 years, he has and always will be special to me and my family. I have tried a couple times to write something here but didn't know what to say. Megan you and the boys are in my every thought and prayer. Michael I will remember you always...I love you always Michael. Your Comedy family in South Carolina will always have special memories of you.

To all the Roof's~ You are in my thoughts. I am very sorry for your loss. I went to YHS with Mike, he was always making jokes. That is how I will remember him. Remember the laughs.
