Not sure what to say?

Thanks for sharing your love of music. -Edina Colburn (Coakley Jr. High, HHS Bands 1984-1989).

Michael, although I have not really stayed in touch until recently, our friendship in high school was one to be treasured. Our days in band together at Edison and Central were great fun, and I loved playing ensembles with you and our little group of friends. I am so thankful we were able to reconnect through facebook. Thoughts and prayers are with your wife and daughters. It is awesome to know you are now with God in heaven. God bless. Gale Newman Pierce.

Michael you will always be remembered for the contributions and advised you gave us here when it came to playing pool. I was honored to have you as my captain for our pool team in Vegas.

Michael,

You were a great mentor to many and loved playing pool with you on the Diamond Gang. The team was never the same after you moved away. I will never forget the fun we had in leagues and in Vegas through the years. You will be missed. My prayers go out to Jeannine and the girls along with your family as I know you are going to be missed greatly by them. Rest in peace with the lord and other friends that have gone before you. Brad Felty, Dallas Texas

SORRY ABOUT YOUR LOSS..MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE FAMILY..

Michael will be missed, but he's happy leading "the big band" now. Judy Henley

Mr. Rowden was my Double Reeds teacher, first Bassoon, then later Oboe. He was patient when he needed to be, but knew just how much of a raised eyebrow--usually followed by a deep breath--to use to add a level of urgency to his otherwise kind motivation. I am grateful for his good humor and his musicianship. -J. Mark Dunn (Harlingen, TX: Coakley Jr Hi and HHS Bands, 1978-1984)

I worked with Mike at Duncanville HS for 5 years and knew him to be very hard-working and also great to get along with. My best to his family.
