I have just now heard of Mike's early passing. Although we have not stayed in touch since our days at UCSD, he is a permanent fixture in my life & wonderful memories. He remains the only person to ever have convinced me to mount a motorcycle, and he gave me a short ride on the campus from one bldg to another. Loving thoughts & prayers to all who miss & love him.
