Not sure what to say?

I was shocked to come home from vacation to learn of Michael´s passing. He was a friend and co-worker with whom I shared many a laugh. I think of him often and miss his presence in my life.

TO MICHAEL,
MY DEAR FRIEND, YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED. I KNEW YOU TOO SHORT A TIME BUT THE TIME WAS WELL SPENT, TRYING TO FIND YOU THAT PERFECT PLACE FOR YOUR YERT. FIND PEACE, MY BROTHER, AND KNOW THAT YOU ARE MISSED AND LOVED BY FRIENDS AND FAMILY, THAT YOU WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. YOUR FRIEND, SUZIE

You're in our thoughts everyday. We love you and we miss you, badly.

I am Michael's cousin & have known him my whole life. I have such fond memories of Mike from my childhood. My brother & I looked forward to our annual Summer trips to Massachusettes to visit the Rudins. And their annual Winter trips to visit us made the Holidays that much better. Since my teenage years I'd only seen Mike a few times, but when we did get together, we seemed to just pick right up where we had left off. He was a great guy to have as a cousin - I've always looked up to him. He...

Ode to a Wicked Cool Cousin

Weeks spent gathering in tin cans
Batteries of every shape, voltage, and size
For radios, tape recorders, flashlights,
And whatever emergency need might arise.

All the smells, laughter, and tears
During 12 hours each way by car
For a fun-filled week-long stay.
Just wish it wasn't so far.

Joyful wakening to daily gifts,
All carefully taped within wrap,...

We are grateful to the Oregonian for the opportunity to publicy express our love for our badly-missed Mike. Out special gratitude goes to the good folks at Stoel Reeves and the loving showing from the Human Resources Dept. at Portland State University.
God bless them.

Michael was a fun and amazing person. I knew him through a business partnership, and will miss him. I am shocked and saddened to know that a wonderful person is no longer here with us. I will miss his smile, humor and kind personality.

I worked with Michael at PSU, and in the short time I knew him, his strange sense of humor and his willingness to help others touched both me and my husband. I was shocked and saddened by his sudden passing and will miss him dearly.

Michael...wishing you find the perfect yurt wherever you are now!

Michael and I were classmates at Washington College, friends after graduation, and I was proud to have him as the best man at my wedding. I am shocked and saddened to learn of his death and I regret all the possibilites that have ended with him.
For the best part of my life he was the best part of my life. I miss him.
