Michael Ruiz

I was saddened to read of Michael's passing. He was a most talented artist and taught me so much about pre-Columbian art. I still have some of the slides of such art that he gave me, over thirty years go, so that I could use them in my teaching capacity at a high school. His passing is such a loss, but he lives on in the beautiful art he created and the knowledge he passed on to others.

When his stepdad Jesus Quintana passed, Michael did an eulogy that was out standing, and when his sis Virginia pass, he gave me the strength to do hers, I am so broken hearted, and so sorry for the loss of Michael
