Not sure what to say?

In loving memory of Mike Russo, a wonderful person and friend. We will love you and miss you always.

My friendship with father Mike began at the Carmel Valley athletic club where we both were swimming. I greatly enjoyed conversations with him about theology politics etc. recently Somethinghad come up that we were Both concerned about. Father Mike said to me "we really need to get together more how about having dinner soon". Of course I replied but did not take out my calendar and set a date. I will have to imagine that dinner now and it reminds me to be in the moment with everyone I know...

I remember Fr. Mike from the time when he was in the seminary. He always looked like a priest, even then. I had the pleasure of seeing him about 7 yrs. ago and he was as kind and gentle as I had remembered him. Rest in peace, Fr. Mike!

Father Mike was a religious studies teacher of mine during my senior year at Seton Hall Prep in 1977.I have fond memories of him.Rest in Peace Father Mike.

Loved Fr. Mike´s sermons at Saint Monica. Was looking forward to having him to our home for a repeat cioppino dinner. His intelligence and personality made him such an interesting person and lively dinner companion. We will miss him.

Grief can be so hard, but our special memories of Fr. Mike Russo help us cope. Remembering you and your loved one today and always.
