RUST, Michael D. - Of Flint, age 67, died Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Hurley Medical Center.

Funeral service will be held 1pm Thursday, May 14, 2015
at New Life Christian Fellowship, 2237 East Reid Road, Grand Blanc,

Pastor Jan Polidan officiating.

Burial in Crestwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Burton Senior Center or New Life Christian Fellowship.

Visitation 4-8pm Wednesday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Visitation 12noon Thursday until the time of the service at the church.

Michael was born in Ypsilanti, MI on May 2, 1948, the son of the late Don and Gwen Rust and was a resident of Flint since 1977. Michael graduated from Cleary University, was a member of fraternity Tau Kappa Delta. On August 31, 1974, he married Sydnie Stoddard. Michael was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship and VFW #8236, Burton Senior Center and was a Boy Scout Leader.

Surviving are wife, Sydnie;

brother, Jeff (Debbie);

and many cherished nieces and nephews.
