Michael Todd Rutherford

CORINNE – Michael Todd Rutherford returned to his Heavenly Father on October 6, 2009. He was born on December 22, 1968 in Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. He graduated from Clearfield High in 1987. He served an LDS mission in British Columbia, Canada. He married Carrie Rathbone on March 20, 1992 in the Logan Temple. He lived in Corinne, Utah for 14 years, where he was a member of the Corinne 2nd Ward. He joined the Military Reserves in 1986. He has served active duty since 2001 in the 169th intelligence squadron. Through the Clearfield Community Church he participated in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scout programs. He was an Eagle Scout in 1985. Through Mike’s High School years he was in the ROTC program, with Col. Hess. Through the American Legion Mike attended Boys State at Utah State University in Logan. He is survived by his wife, Carrie Rathbone Rutherford, five children: Kyle - 16, Brittney – 15, Matthew – 12, Braden – 10, and Aaron – 8. His father, Sampson Rutherford, and his Mother, Rosella “Sue” and Rudolph Romero, sister, Debbie Delgado and brother, Daniel Rutherford. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Corinne 2nd Ward Chapel, 2325 N. 4000 W., Corinne, UT. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 205 S. 100 E., Brigham City, and Friday from 10:00 to 10:40 a.m. at the Church. Interment will be in the Corinne Cemetery were Military Honors will be accorded.
