Not sure what to say?

Dear Cecilia and family,

It is now October 26, 2008, and tonight Jerry, Katie, Ryan and I, just learned of Mike's passing. We know how much love he had for you and for his family, as it showed in your home, in your words, in your children. Only time will heal your wounds and only time will help you to understand that Mike is still with you in mind and in spirit. Talk to him, laugh with him and love him. He will forever be within each and every one of you.

May God Bless...

Dear Rutledge family,

I enjoyed working with Dr. Rutledge in the pathology office at Memorial Southwest Hospital until my retirement last December, 2007, he was always kind and helpful.

I want to express my deepest sympathy you all, and will keep you in my prayers for God to grant you comfort and strength in the coming days.

Cecilia & children,
You donot know me personally. I worked w/Marilyn for many yrs. at Methodist Hosp.-SATX, and do feel that I know you, because of all the wonderful things Marilyn shared about your beautiful family, and her awesome son. She was always so proud of all of you and all of your accomplishments. I am very shocked and deeply saddened for your great loss. I am a prayer warrior and your family will be in my constant prayers - especially your children. May God's Holy Spirit...

Dear Rutledge Family;
Last Sunday I received a call from Bill Bryant telling me that Mike had passed. I was stunned...I still am. I am so grateful that I was able to speak to him recently. Wow. I just can't hardly believe it. My deepest sympathy for your loss.

Dr. Valdes, this note is from Jim and Marty Holmes. You knew me as the Lab Director at SE....Marty Quick. You pulled a lot of fluid from my daughter Sheryl's thyroid cyst, remember? I also worked with Dr. Rutledge at SE for quite a while. He was one of the most intelligent men I have ever known. Jim, my husband and the (ret) Lab Director at Memorial Hermann, knew Mike from the Microbiology tech team and he shares my feelings. We are so sorry for your loss and for your daughter and your...

Dear Dr. Cecilia:

Our Cuban friend Adriana Maruri alerted us about your unexpected and devastating loss. The only consolation is through faith and our belief of meeting again in the better place.

We remember you for helping our daughter Elisa Boix Drewelow deliver a healthy baby boy a few days ago.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Dr. Valdes I am very sorry for your great loss. My heart aches for you and your family. I was a patient of Dr. Dunn's, but you filled in for a procedure for me, that I am grateful for. I hope you find peace and comfort real soon. May God bless you and hold you tight.

Dear Cecilia, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time of sorrow. With deepest sympathy, Carolyn Cambor (BCM '83)

Dear Rutledge Family,
Please accept our deepest sympathy and prayers.
