Not sure what to say?

I've never forgotten the day . I've prayed for his family every year since.

I've never forgotten. I've prayed for his family every year since.

Dear Voss Family,

I am deeply sorry for your loss and forever grateful for saving my husbands life in those horrible times.
My husband owes his life to Voss. And the time has come where he needs to visit him and make peace with it all. It has taken some time to process. This has affected his soul. We would like to plan a visit to his resting spot and for Webb to make his peace. He has been deeply affected by his loss and im sure you all have. He doesnt go a week without...

I was working at the Aerial Port in Kirkuk, Iraq and partook in the process of sending SSgt Voss home for the last time. I secured him to the ramp of a C-130 and was speechless and in shock the entire time. I have never forgotten him. My respects and condolences. SMSgt Boundy, USAFR, Retired

Rest Easy Warrior!

To the family and friends of Michael I send my deepest sympathies. I knew Michael when we were both young men serving in the 82nd. Always a clown and a fun guy to be around in our off time but a squared away soldier that always had his battle buddies "SIX". I am sure that Michael has touched many other lives and I am sure that this world is a little dimmer with his passing. I just learned of this today and we will remember him this weekend as members of our unit are reuniting @ Fort Bragg....

I am deeply touched that these entries have been added so recently. It means so much to know that you are out there and have not forgotten. I can hardly believe how much time has passed--10 yrs. I am blessed to have Michael's daughters living with my husband and me. Having known Michael from Germany, you may remember his first wife, Ruthie. Michael did remarry after leaving the army, only to return to Iraq for the second time as a member of the NC National Guard.
Thank you both, from the...
