I found out today that Mike passed. I'm glad to have known him. He was a true warrior and a good friend. I can hear that booming laugh now as I make a somewhat sad attempt to write things about him he's be too humble to admit to. That said, I'll raise my glass high tonight and toast the man in grand fashion, with expensive scotch and a cheap cigar! See you on the other side brother...

I lived with Mike in Gardez on his last tour. Never has God created a more noble, honorable, and trustworthy man than Mike. I believe The Great Master can withstand only a limited amount of time without His greatest children at His immediate side; He calls the Great ones home far too soon, by our selfish measure. Friday evening I sat next to CW2 Duskin's uncle on a flight to Orlando. I am also a service member and I pray for his family's healing and thank Chief Duskin for his sacrifice.
