I was a grade school friend of Michael. Mike was a very tender hearted person. For a short time we played together in a garage band. We we quite mediocre but we were legends in our own minds and had a great time doing it. Sadly all of my bandmates from the 60's have passed away but the memories will live on.

We just learned of Mike's passing today and were shocked. Words can not express how sad we are to hear this news. You are all in our prayers.

Dad. I still cannot believe you are gone. I am stuck in August and yet it is almost October. I can't believe we won't have any of your famous jack-o-lanterns this Halloween. You won't be at Thanksgiving; Christmas. If I could rewind time, I would never take you for granted. I know our relationship wasn't always perfect, but I loved you and I know you loved me. I miss you so much Daddy! I love you forever. Phillip is being homeschooled and he misses you so much! So much I want to text you...

I was shocked to hear of Mike's passing. I remember working with him at Figgie and the great times we had playing racketball and having a few beers afterwards at Cebars. He was a great guy. My utmost condolences to Donna and the family.

WOW, I was just floored by the news. Mike was one of the nicest people I had ever met. I've known him since I first started working at GE in 2000. He was always smiling and always would say hello. He will be sadly missed by everyone at GE and in my family. The 2 times I returned to work at GE, he was one of the first people to greet me. His first question was always, How are your wife and kids doing?"

I am deeply saddened to hear about your passing Mike. The world has lost a fantastic person - you have touched many my friend. You took me and many others under your wing at GE, and your leadership and friendship was special. All who knew you would agree.

To your family, I express my deepest condolences. Mike was special in many ways. Great respect.

May you rest in peace my friend - you will never be forgotten.

Over the 18 years that I have been with GE, I knew and had talked to Mike at various functions. For the last two years, I have had the priviledge of having an office right next to Mike. We would talk every day. In fact, Mike would always say good night to me before he left or I would do the same before I left. I have not seen him in a couple of weeks, since he was working from home. On the same day that I heard about Mike, I was wondering that morning when he would be back in the office...
