Not sure what to say?

Dear Grace, Phyllis and Michael,

It has been years since we've seen each other back on Upsala Court and yet is seem like yesterday that Michael Jr., Darlene and I were the best of childhood friends.

My mom called me the other day to let me know about Mike Sr. and I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He really was a good man and will be missed by many.

I have such vivid and enjoyable memories growing up across the street - the pool, your grandmother sitting on the back...

Phyliss, I am so sorry and shocked to hear of the loss of your dad. I have so many great memories being down the shore with your family. Your mom and dad were especially gracious and treated me with such generosity. I will always remember your dad's great big smile, and how much he watched out for his little girl.

Please accept my deepest sympathies and let me know if there is anything I can do at this time. All my love, Anita

Dear Gracie......I've met you only twice, and it was a few years ago, but I want you to know that our prayers and love go both to Big Mikey and to you and your family...I'll never forget his great kindnesses to me and my Dad, and the special memories he's left for us.....with fondness, Bucky Mroz

Dear Gracie, Mike and Phyllis, Aunt Em and Uncle Eddie, We are so deeply saddened for you and your families at the loss of Mike. Mike has always been a kind, loving and considerate person, someone whom we have always been proud to call "our cousin." He will be kept alive in our hearts as we will always remember him for his great stories about the past, especially about stories of my Mom and Dad. We will continue to pray for your hearts to heal. All our love,
Evelyn and Helmut xoxoxoxo

Gracie,

I was so sorry to hear about Big Mike's passing when my son, Anthony told me. We sure go back a long way. I can remember so vividly the Halloween parties at your house in Kenilworth.....we (the Grasso's) dressed up as "Fruit of the Loom" ....Gerry was a banana, we were the grapes, Lou was an apple. What fun we had....and then there was Hooper who came in dressed as "A Lady of the Night" (street walker). I never saw Mike laugh so hard. You and Mike sure knew how to throw a...

Grace where did all the time go. It seems like yesterday when Mike, John Rial and I would get together evey Staurday at his parents home on Nichols Street for lunch and hanging out. His Mom and Dad where second parents to John and me when we growing up in down neck Newark. "They where great days and a wonderful era". We all celebrated when Mike bought his first car a Cadillac with fin tails. I remember how excited he was when he told me about meeting you and some day you would be his wife. I...

Hi Mike -

You know of me through your girlfriend, Kim. We have been best friends since Kindergarten. She can never say enough great things about your parents, children, and the rest of the family. Your Dad was a very special man and he will be greatly missed by so many. My husband, boys, and I look forward to meeting you in the future and send our sincere condolences at this rough time. May your Dad's memories comfort everyone now.
