Michael and I always enjoyed our conversations about quilting and fabric manipulation. He loved when I would bring in my completed quilts and he would just be in aww of them. I would bring in books and say I think this one is you and choose a fabric bundle. He came back with something different....and the fabrics he loved were batiks. Michael was an incredible person. We only worked together for a few years, but he certainly made a never-ending impression on me. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He made me laugh out loud with every email we exchanged. He had good command of the English language and articulated it beautifully. I miss him very much and think of him often.
