I only spent any time with Brandon in middle school. We were teammates on the basketball team and nearly had every class together in 7th and 8th grade before I moved. But I remember he was always nice towards me and respected me as I was still a "new kid" around the school. Reconnected through Facebook and posted every now and then to each other. Very stunned on this news.

The world was better for his presence.

I am so sorry. Brandon was a great kid! Prayers for his family.
