Mike, I went to Wilson with you but never knew you. As I am preparing for our 60th Reunion in the summer of 2024 and working on the presentation for those classmates we have lost, I have come across your name and obituary more than once. My lasting impression is that you were a terrific guy and all I can say now is that I wish I had known you all those years ago. Rest In Peace.

Dear Mary, Tears can never erase the pain of death. Only time has that talent. For pain is the price one pays for love. As for me, unspeakable sorrow! I am shocked, brokenhearted, and dismayed. Rush was GOOD, yet, I have NEVER known of someone so outspoken and able to TRUTHFULLY and INTELLIGENTLY prove, EVERYTHING I ever heard him say on the radio. I am so sad of the loss of Michael as I grew up with him on Loop Drive in Portland and also at Wilson High School. We had great memories playing football at Gagreil park and basketball in my drive. I was lucky to see him on our 50 year class reunion at Brad Jonasson home of Wilson and Hayhurst grade school. I know Mike is in a wonderful place with no more pain and suffering.
