I am so sorry, my friend. It's been too long. I hated to have found out days after you passed away that you had gone. I regret that I havent kept in touch. I hope that you are happy where you are, and that you have found some peace.

For many years, you were my best friend, my compadre, the best man at my wedding. We went into the Navy at the same time. You were there for me through a lot, and I will miss you terribly.
