Dear Vesta, Mark and Rick:
Saddened to hear of your loss. Mike had such a great soul. I remember sitting with him in front at the cleaners at 5:45 every day. He would tell us stories about being in the service and the war, but what he loved most was talking about Vesta's wonderful cooking and the dinner she had made him the night before. Mike was caring and supportive of family and co-workers, expressing his love in actions more than words. He valued fairness and compassion and quietly aided those who needed a helping hand to get on their feet. He loved his country, worked too hard and gently shared his affections. He will be missed, but his legacy lives on in his grandchildren.
