Not sure what to say?

I just learned of Michael's passing today. My sincerest condolences to his family. I knew Mike and his wife Ruth through their affiliation with the Houston Sister Cities program and the national association, Sister Cities International. I had the privilege of working with Mike for almost 15 years -- he was a dedicated volunteer, a hard worker, and a joy to work with. Always a smile and a positive attitude. We kept in touch and I will miss him very much.

I have just learned of Mike's passing. I had the enormous privilege of knowing Mike through the Distinguished Flying Cross Society and hearing of his many accounts of WWII. Mike was a gentleman, friend and very proud of his family. He will be missed by all that knew him. I am deeply saddened that I was not able to say "good bye"! Rest in peace my friend.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael in the early 80's and think of him often. What a great loss.

A wonderful gentleman has passed into the Light. We in Houston's international community remember you with great fondness, Dear Mike.

I was married to Mike's nephew Francis. Mike was a very good friend to me for many years. We used to go to dinner together and worked for several years on Geonology. I last saw him in April of this year when I visited Portland, we had a great day.I loved him very much.

Michael was a true friend: devoted to family, friends and country. I will truly miss our lively discussions. Rest in peace Michael.
Pamela, I am sorry for your loss.

Michael had many wonderful stories about growing up in the old immigrant neighborhood of South Portland. I won't forget him.
